Each new national registry that joins SHARP Central has its own database in which centers from that country can enter patient data.
The structures of these databases are identical and based on those of the Dutch Registry for Severe Asthma, called RAPSODI (Registry of Adult Patients with Severe Asthma for Optimal Treatment of Disease).
RAPSODI was founded in 2016 and awarded by the Netherlands Organization for Health Research and Development ZonMw.
It has proven to be robust and user-friendly for healthcare providers in daily practice and suitable for research purposes.
